...... so long
It is not about celebrating Santa Claus is coming to town to give the good kids what they deserved for their good behaviour. It is about the gift of Jesus Christ. The babe that was borned by a virgin and it is special. All humans are borned because the sperm from their father's body get into one of the eggs in the mother's body and it became them. Jesus was borned different, he cannot be like us as the all man are borned sinners, because the first man (Adam) committed the sin of disobedience at Eden. Adam represented all man after him and so all sinned. Just as it is said, the results of sins is death, today we still see death in all man so in other words man still continue to sin.
Jesus came not in the same way as all man so as to become the second Adam to represent man again but this time with total obedience to God. His birth is to be remembered !
Furthermore, Jesus came to die for man to pay for all our sins so that God will not punish those who accept his way of paying for our sins. Failure to accept this is frightening, it means we reject the purpose of Christ and there is no excuse. Jesus shown us that beside living a perfect life and died, he rose again. That shows that what he said was true, no one can come back from the dead and even predicted it before his death.
Dare you forsake such a opportunity to remember Christ for all that he did for you.
Today is the day to receive this way and believe. Then can I say " Have a blessed Christmas"
One thing really struck me was the visit to Rev Timothy Tow. The first look at him was familiar to me. He looks like my mother, with the wrinlkles and blur looking eyes. This is the same look for every old folks who was left to eat very little at hospital.
My mother was a happy case as far as I am concern. Her soul was ready to meet God.
She believed in Christ after her stroke and confess her faith before the pastors. She received her baptism on the last day of May this year.
For Rev Tow, I saw a end to once a strong person who indicate much faith in Christ yet his end
may not be what I expected. May God help him.
So long..............
